Pre Marriage Enquiry Form

Congratulation on your engagement and thank-you for making an enquiry to this parish regarding your intended marriage. It is a big step in your life together as a couple. This form begins the process for your wedding and there are some details that we require to book both the church and your intended celebrant.
This form is an enquiry form only and a confirmation will be sent to you to confirm your booking with both the Parish and the priest who will celebrate your wedding.
It is a requirement of marriage that couples complete a pre-marriage course with one of the many agencies here in Hobart; Centacare, Anglicare or relationships Australia provide possibly the best courses currently. There are many courses designed to suit you personally and the work/recreation lifestyle that you enjoy.
If you have been married before regardless of religious affiliation or civil ceremony it is a requirement that you make contact with the Marriage Tribunal of the Catholic Church to receive the necessary permission to marry details. Any questions please make sure you have a discussion with the Priest you have asked to celebrate your marriage.
It is possible to marry outside of our Churches or sacred spaces. This again is a conversation that you should have with a Priest.
